Note
Medium Risk
Credential update/delete-key behavior affects stored secrets metadata and merge order; telemetry doc changes may mislead callers if server behavior diverges, but most changes are generated types and docs.
Overview
Release 0.76.0 bumps the package from 0.75.0 and refreshes the OpenAPI-backed SDK from an updated spec.
Credentials:
credentials.update(sync and async) acceptsremove_value_keysso stored value fields can be dropped beforevaluesare merged. TheCredentialresponse addsvalue_keys(field names only, not secrets) on single-resource create/get/update responses. Types and generated tests were updated accordingly.Browser telemetry: Typed params and model docstrings now describe layering request category settings onto the default set (control, connection, system, captcha) instead of treating every category as opt-in-only. Operational categories are documented as on by default (opt out with
enabled=false); CDP categories and screenshot stay opt in. Create/update docs also clarify merge vs replace whenenabled=trueis set on update.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit 712856b. Bugbot is set up for automated code reviews on this repo. Configure here.
