Update the development file watcher logic in api/main.py to explicitly add individual Python files found in the root directory. Previously, a glob pattern string (/*.py) was appended to the watch list, which is now replaced by iterating through the directory and adding specific file paths to ensure accurate file monitoring.

Summary of Changes

Hello @Alexwang-sol, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request addresses an issue with the development file watcher's reliability in detecting changes in Python files within the API root directory. By transitioning from a generic glob pattern to explicit inclusion of individual Python file paths, the system ensures that all relevant files are accurately monitored for changes during development, thereby enhancing the hot-reloading experience and developer productivity.

Highlights

  • Development Watcher Logic: Updated the development file watcher in api/main.py to explicitly add individual Python files from the root directory, replacing the previous glob pattern (/*.py) for more accurate monitoring.

Code Review

This pull request refactors the development file watcher in api/main.py by replacing a glob pattern with explicit file path discovery for Python files. This change improves the robustness and clarity of the file watching mechanism, particularly for cross-platform compatibility. The implementation is straightforward and correct. The code quality is good, and I have no further suggestions.
