You can lie too. You just dont have the goodwill to shield you, so you have to lie better as you will be subject to more scrutiny. |

Thought about this more, and I don't think lying is the move. If AI writes bad code, that's a sign the process around it needs more rigor — not a reason to hide that it was used. So I'm doing the opposite of what you're suggesting: leaving it out in the open (README's always said Claude Code was involved) and putting the receipts right next to it — tests, a technical decision log, docs that stay in sync with what actually ships. Just added a "Development process" section to the README laying that out, if you want to see what I mean: https://github.com/thongor77/nmlinux#development-process Companies not disclosing their AI use isn't a reason for me to lie too. It's a reason to be more transparent than them, since transparency is the one thing they're clearly avoiding. |

it is really difficult to promote a Vibe coded application, Fundamentally I understand why, but today, almost all company are using AI and nobodies says that they are using AI, but AI is used to build applications, videos, photos, websites etc and they all are still saying that they do not use AI, so why companies will be allowed and not a guy at home?
