A bug on the Windows platform where software starts up automatically and lags after long-term use #2872

I have been using video wallpaper mode and animated wallpapers to customize my Windows desktop. However, after prolonged usage (over six months), I noticed a significant decline in the system's booting speed. The time required for Windows Hello to load and transition to the desktop has increased. Upon reaching the desktop, the animated wallpaper often freezes on the initial frame and fails to play properly. Additionally, there are instances where the entire desktop becomes unresponsive for a short period, typically recovering after approximately 10 seconds. In some cases, the video wallpaper does not play at all, and restoring functionality requires re-entering the software's main interface and switching the wallpaper setting. Recently, I encountered a bug that caused a two-minute desktop freeze. I resolved the issue by restarting the Explorer process. |
