Add native task scheduler support

Allow us to use WorkManager API on Android and the BGTaskScheduler API on iOS to schedule tasks. This improves battery life compared to other ways of running tasks.

I'm really interested in this kind of feature. I saw this plugin, but I haven't tested it yet.
I don't know if this should stay a plugin, native support is always better 😄

I meant "tauri native", but yeah the plugin I mentioned seems to do the job (actually it doesn't, oops). These kind of plugins (especially on mobile) lack visibility imho. I also think about Push Notifications, Silent Printing, Mobile intent management... The task scheduler plugin only has 5 stars on github 😅 Almost nobody knows its existence

Any ideas how to increase visibility? We currently only have awesome-tauri which is also displayed on the website but requires people to actually submit their projects.

Something like a tauri-community (taken btw) was discarded because the working group thought it wouldn't offer that much over awesome-tauri. That was 2 years ago or so and i'm not so sure if that really held true...

One thing is for sure, we cannot take on any more maintenance burden so all we can do is help in visibility or organization areas idk

Yeah I guess they is already a lot to maintain with official plugins.
I have several ideas already, from quite simple to less simple

• reorganizing the community ressources page by platforms, add a basic search bar and filters. This would allow to search among the curated list, and that's a good start
• make a kind of crates.io wrapper site, that would query crates.io results by only matching tauri-plugin-* results. This way we could search among all the published crates, even when their owned hasn't opened a PR on awesome tauri. With this you could also view and compare different plugins that treat similar use cases.
• related to the latter, it would be great to display the github stars related to a project. I know it isn't the best metric. But a good ecosystem is not the one that has the most total amount of plugins, but the one that has one or two good plugins for a given usecase, highlighted by the community through a metric (in this case github stars, for lack of better option). I think in todays Tauri's plugin ecosystem there is a lack of consensus for some plugin based basic features. The mobile Push Notifications feature is a great example (this Github issue tells a lot to it)

Does this sound feasible / desirable to you ?
