request.validate does not exist

Following the migration guide for our web API application. Trying to use request.validate using the legacy validator but I receive an error with validate doesn't exist on the Request object. Any help is appreciated!

@thetutlage any ideas on this one ? Do I have to indeed migrate our entire platform to vine ?

@fcottarel Also does not work, that seems to be apart of the VineJS package and I don't have that installed. Any other ideas ?

This method should be added by the legacy validator provider, have you added it?
