Is it possible to drag and drop text files?

Describe the problem/question

I have been trying to drop a text file to my PrivateBin instance just to get the browser open it instead of it being uploaded.
Is this function exported? It is dependent on any configuration. If so, what needs to change?

Dragged a text file over my privatebin instance

What happens

Browser opens the file in a new tab

What should happen

A new paste is created from the file

Does not it work for you?

Note for it to work, you obviously need to have enabled file upload. See https://github.com/PrivateBin/PrivateBin/wiki/Configuration#fileupload for how to configure it.

If it still doe snot work, please open a bug report including your browser and system details etc.

Thank you for your answer, but that is not what I'm after. I want something more like what github gists does. Where you drag and drop a text-file and the content of the file becomes the paste. What you are suggesting is additionally adding attachments to a paste. Similar, but not the same

Ah, well that would be a new feature. It could be done technically I guess (by detecting when a .txt attachment is dropped). Can you open a new feature request for this please then?
