Overview

This tracker is for the first release for Glamsterdam Devnet 7, for which discussions are still ongoing regarding EIP changes to be included, and will be based on the latest glamsterdam-devnet-6 spec.

Scope

The current scope includes EIP updates for EIP-8037, EIP-2780 and new execute only tests for EIP-8070.

  • EELS PR: feat(tests,spec): implement eip-8070 sparse blob pool infra #2948, tests for execute only so not included in test release fixtures.

  • Decision pending, intrinsic vs. runtime: All Core Devs - Testing (ACDT) #85, June 29, 2026 pm#2133 (comment)
• EIP-8037
  • Decision pending, Update EIP-8037: unfair allocation of EIP-7702 overcharges EIPs#11778, not required if the above EIP-2780 change is added.
• EIP-8282
  • Decision pending, reduce builder deposit values:
  • Add EIP-8282 builder deposit and exit contracts sys-asm#43 (comment)
  • builder_deposits: read queue params from syscall input sys-asm#48
• EIP-7928
  • Decision pending, BAL inclusion for SSTORE cold-read (triggered by EIP-8038). EIP-8038 pushes cold SLOAD above the 2300 sentry, so an OOG cold read can still hit the BAL, EIP-7928 must pin whether that slot is included.

Status

• All relevant PRs merged to forks/amsterdam.
• glamsterdam-devnet-7 branch created and rebased on forks/amsterdam.
• Fixtures generated and released.
• hive-tests updated to run the new fixtures.
• hive-ui discovery updated to the latest glamsterdam-devnet workflow.
• Linked the test fixture release tag within the issue and closed it.
