[Photos] [Android] Edited photos also end up in the local gallery

Is it the same for you? When photos that are only in the Ente Cloud are edited, the edited version, i.e. the copy of the original, ends up in Ente, but also locally in the “Pictures” folder. I am referring to the Android mobile app.

Yes, this is the expected behavior right now.

We save the copy of the edited photo to your local gallery, and then back that up to the cloud.

Thank you for the quick response. Is this planned differently in the future, so that this happens purely in the cloud? Otherwise I would create a feature request for this.
