Sync shared user to individual users #729

Hi there, on my Jellyfin server I have a shared user account (User 3) we use when (User 1 and User 2) are watching something together. Is there any way to have it so that whenever something is played on User 3 it flows through to both User 1 and 2's account? This way if one of the users decides they no longer want to watch it's easy for the other user to continue on from where they left off. |

Hello, Unfortunately WatchState supports 1 user per backend while in theory you can add multiple users from same backend i honestly don't know what will happen and how the data will be shaped, you could test it out with different users and see how it's behave, but it's completely untested. |

I could give it a go, how would that work? I set up 3 different backends on
the same server with different users as the main user?
