Indoor maps?

Have you considered adding indoor maps to Overture? We can potentially import indoor maps from OSM to start, but the problem would be you'd have to import the items/amenities as well, which previously discussed isn't feasible due to licensing. Additionally there are a few indoor map companies that can join such as GoodMaps and cntxts Inc. (as well as having Mappedin and Pointr to add support for businesses to publish to Overture, potentially baring sensitive/nonpublic areas first). If Apple and HERE join, their maps will be added here as well (Google as well, but we all know they would not join).

Note: Bing Maps used to have something called venue maps (HERE still does for obvious reasons) but it got removed due to switching away from HERE, so we can't get those maps.

Thanks for raising this question @upintheairsheep! We do not have near-term plans to add indoor maps but this could change depending on the needs and use cases of Overture members.
